Founded/Executive Chef

Chef Darryl Blackwell is a passionate, motivated culinary professional known for bringing bold flavors, warm hospitality, and unforgettable dining experiences to every table. Based in Philadelphia, Chef Darryl blends classical culinary technique with creative, soulful inspiration—crafting dishes that feel both elevated and comforting.

 

He is a proud graduate of the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, Colorado, earning his Associate Degree in Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts in 2023. His formal training, combined with real-world kitchen experience, gives him a strong foundation in food preparation, safety, technique, and professional kitchen operations.

 

As a private chef, small event caterer, and culinary creative, Chef Darryl has built a reputation for excellence—curating intimate three-course dinners, hosting elegant multi-course tasting experiences, and designing custom menus for celebrations of all kinds. Clients appreciate his professionalism, communication, and his ability to tailor each menu to their tastes, dietary needs, and occasion.

 

His cooking style reflects diverse influences—from refined global cuisine to soulful home-style flavors—resulting in plates that are beautifully presented, thoughtfully seasoned, and always made with care.
